w/ Coach Erin Yonke

Tailored technique for your athlete. Safe, fun and effective training.

Acro at Home runs 3 ‘seasons’ each year: Spring, Summer & Fall (operating approximately 9 months of the year, similar to schools).

What do you offer?

Whether your athlete is involved in Dance, Gymnastics, Cheer, or Circus Arts, the principles of proper tumbling technique are the same.

With 30 years of experience—20 dedicated to teaching and coaching—I prioritize technique over speed. My approach involves breaking down skills to ensure safety and understanding.

This service is SUPPLEMENTAL to consistent practice at a facility, because I simply cannot replace tumbling in an actual gym.

All levels & Ages

Whether your kiddo needs to clean up some advanced skills or is just getting started, one-on-one coaching will help them achieve their Acro goals.

Can work with kids ages 5-18, beginner to pre-professional.

Skills include, but not limited to:

  • Rolls, Cartwheels, Walkovers
  • Back-handsprings, Aerials, Tucks
  • Layouts, Step-outs, Helicopters, Twisting skills, Variations, and beyond.
  • Partner Acrobatics, Acroyoga, Stunting, Jumps & more!

How does this work?

It’s simple – I will bring mats to your home, and can incorporate any equipment/mats you may have into the lesson as well. The first private is more of an evaluation to see where their at, and we can go from there!

Space needed: approximately an 8x12ft open space inside or outside (mats work best on cement, not grass/turf).

Parents can book lessons with a monthly rate during the school year, or use the flexible booking system here over the summer.

Equipment

Lessons can be held inside or outside of the home, and we will need an approximate 8×12 foot space, (minimumand having an empty wall for handstands helps as well).

During mobile lessons, I will bring in a selection of mats that are suitable for the size of the space, and for what skills your child is working on.

For ‘bigger’ skills such as tucks & layouts, it’s best to use a trampoline or a larger AirTrack at the home.

Mats include: sections of carpet bonded foam (the pink cheer mats – up to 30ft), an inflatable barrel mat aka ‘the jellybean’, a pit pillow, mini sting mat and more.
